Intel Sm Bus Controller Driver Windows 7
I bought a Dell All-in-one 2020 from Craig's List. I know.but I did it. So the guy had no disks with it. He did a fresh install of Windows 7 Pro. I got some of the drivers that were missing from the web, but cannot come up with the chipset driver from Intel for the SM Bus. The other problem I have. Drivers installer help you automatically download and install drivers, for Windows XP, Vista, 7 & 8. Automatically Download and Install SM Bus Controller Drivers for Windows XP, Vista, 7 & 8. Download SM Bus Drivers.

Intel Sm Bus Controller Driver Windows 7 Update
I have a Gateway DX4710 Desktop Series. Here's my system information:
System: 3.3 Windows Experience
Processor: Intel (R) Core (TM) 2 Quad CPU Q 6600 @ 2.40 GHZ
Memory (Ram): 6.00 GB
System Type: 64-bit Operating System
I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit. I recently did a system System Diagnostic test on my PC and the test revealed that I needed a SM Bus Controller Device. I went to the Gateway Drivers and Downloads section, did a search to find a SM Bus Controller device, and the search revealed four options:
1. PV9.0.0.1008.zip - Intel Chipset Driver
2. 390598_MA1_1_OEMGen_165622.zip - Intel Network Driver
3. WHQL_5688_PG262_Vist_XP_Getway_Dolby.zip-Realtek Audio
4. PV15.82.1461.zip-Intel Video Driver
Here'a my question:
I previously asked the question on this forum: What is a SM Bus Controller Device and I was advised to go to Gateway's Drivers and Downloads Section and do a search. As you can see, it came back with 4 options. I am new to this and I don't know which driver to select. Can you advise? Do I have to uninstall the previous driver (that is not working) before I can install one of the above drivers or will downloading the above drivers download and update and clear up any problems I'm having with the driver.
Thanks for any advice you can give.
